A little bit about me
Design is my second creative career. I spent years dedicated to the art of storytelling through classical music.
With years of experience as a classical musician, opera singer, and music teacher, I honed my sense of discipline, and commitment to excellence while fostering collaboration, effective communication, and the ability to inspire creativity in others.
My highly visual nature led me to connect musical pieces with artistic genres and historical periods. While studying music, I developed a passion for art history, which now allows me to draw on visual and historical knowledge when designing creative concepts.
My unique blend of life experiences has shaped my design approach, allowing me to incorporate historical context, impactful visual storytelling, and a drive for excellence into each project I work on.

I am an island girl at heart. I grew up in Victoria, and the BC West Coast is what I love best. Give me blustery stormy coastal weather any day!
Some of my peak life experiences include singing in Napoleon’s private theatre in Vienna, tree planting in Northern Alberta, living in Alaska, traveling to Iceland and meeting my family, and being a mom of three very special kids. I enjoy getting out in nature, kayaking, and hiking.
